About the position

The CDL Supervisor at HPC-Industrial is responsible for instructing, providing feedback, and directing crew members in their job duties to ensure compliance with client requirements and company policies. This role involves enforcing company policies, scheduling jobs, and ensuring all necessary equipment is operational before starting work. The supervisor also performs maintenance on equipment, trains technicians, and operates various service line equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct and provide feedback to crew members on job performance.
  • Enforce company employee policies and remove employees from jobs when necessary.
  • Schedule jobs and crews as needed.
  • Dispatch crews based on calls received, including nights and weekends.
  • Read work orders and ensure all required equipment is available and operational before starting jobs.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas prior to job commencement and correct deficiencies.
  • Inform clients regarding job status and requirements as needed.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including service receipts, and submit to management.
  • Train technicians and operators on equipment operation and service line processes.
  • Operate necessary equipment in the downstream service line according to safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable service in the industrial cleaning industry.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation used in the service line.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current certification as an authorized company driver.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
