About the position
The position involves supervising the production staff at the Mailing & Distribution Center, focusing on creating mailings for health plans and internal customers. The role includes managing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing the production schedule while advising on equipment purchases and mail piece design.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the production staff of the Mailing & Distribution Center.
- Create and manage production processes and quality standards.
- Create and maintain the production schedule.
- Advise on the purchase of new equipment and mail piece design.
- Maintain production machines.
- Manage and train production staff.
- Create and provide productivity reports and production cost analysis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years in a mailroom, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of USPS, mail piece design, and technology of the mail and print industry.
- Experience with associated software preferred.
- Previous experience as a lead in a functional area or managing cross-functional teams on large scale projects.
- Supervisory experience highly preferred.
