About the position
As a 3rd Keyholder at Claire's, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing the store in the absence of other management, ensuring that the store operates safely and legally during these times. You will be instrumental in delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring that our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience. In this role, you will demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using your product knowledge. You will also assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions. Additionally, you will receive full training in ear piercing, which is a key service we offer. Maintaining a presentable and inviting store environment for our customers will be one of your primary responsibilities, ensuring that the store looks its best at all times. Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
- Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal operations.
- Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
- Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
- Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
- Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
- Perform ear piercing after receiving full training.

Requirements
- Some high school education required.
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of the importance of customer service.
- Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
- Ability to operate the POS system.
