About the position
As a Part-Time Manager/3rd Key Holder at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail targets. Your responsibilities will include driving sales, ensuring a safe and legal trading environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also assist with various store operations, including visual merchandising and inventory management, while providing a fun shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
- Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal trading.
- Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
- Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
- Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
- Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
- Perform ear piercing after receiving full training.
- Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.
Requirements
- Some high school education required.
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of the importance of customer service.
- Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
- Ability to operate a POS system.
