Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Meter Shop team, ensuring safety and quality control.
- Addresses disciplinary and performance issues in conjunction with HR, communicating effectively with employees.
- Provides feedback during performance reviews and resolves technical questions for employees.
- Identifies process improvements to enhance operations and customer service.
- Administers the work group budget, analyzing cost variances and ensuring resource efficiency.
- Coordinates with other groups to schedule activities effectively.
- Identifies solutions to customer requests and plans to eliminate delays.
- Ensures compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and company policies.
- Administers the Performance Management program uniformly and effectively.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups across functional lines.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Broad-based business knowledge, including financial analysis and project management.
- Thorough knowledge of electric utility services, products, and service requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
