About the position

As the Supervisor of Behavioral Health Case Workers at AmeriHealth Caritas, you will oversee the daily operations of a dedicated team in Upstate South Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring that care management services are delivered with the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will work under the guidance of the Manager of Integrated Care Management, providing clinical direction and organizational leadership to your team. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of care that members receive, making this not just a supervisory role but a significant leadership opportunity. In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring the productivity and documentation of your team, mentoring staff, and ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and state regulations. You will assist in executing strategic plans and daily operations, always with a focus on improving processes and outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the care management programs, ensuring that your team meets all state requirements while delivering exceptional case management services. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers team.
  • Provide clinical direction and organizational leadership to the team.
  • Monitor productivity and documentation of case workers.
  • Mentor staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and state regulations.
  • Execute strategic plans and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers.
  • Drive the delivery of exceptional case management services.
  • Ensure compliance with state requirements and quality standards.
  • Engage with members and staff via face-to-face visits within the community or in-home as needed.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
  • OR at least five (5) years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and LMSW licensure in South Carolina; LCSW/LISW licensure will also be considered.
  • At least two (2) years of Supervisory experience.
  • Experience with state-required reporting and NCQA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and experience with MS Access is a plus.
  • Ability to utilize electronic medical record (EMR) and documentation programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in community-based settings and/or home care.
  • Current or prior experience collaborating with DMH, DJJ, DSS, and/or DDSN is desired.
