About the position

The Supervisor of Business Operations at Shenandoah Crossing Resort is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves managing financial data, preparing reports, and acting as a liaison between corporate and internal departments. The position emphasizes accuracy, accountability, and efficiency in financial management within a resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable for the resort, including the food and beverage department.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data in collaboration with resort members.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial consolidations to the general ledger.
• Act as a point of contact between corporate and internal departments, serving as a liaison with accounting and external parties.
• Enter information into company files or databases using bookkeeping software, ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
• Ensure company bills are paid and debts are collected.
• Implement and enforce financial and inventory controls.
• Focus on compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal financial regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in bookkeeping, management, or a relevant field may be required.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn accounting, POS, and PMS programs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking.
