Responsibilities

• Oversee daily departmental operations and address employee, patient, and organizational needs.
• Build positive relationships within Baptist Health South Florida.
• Provide professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, and community members.
• Implement performance improvement processes by collecting and analyzing data.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA and EMTALA.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in Patient Access or physician practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem resolution.
• Ability to multitask in stressful situations.
• Professional, detail-oriented team player.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole.
