About the position

The Supervisor - Pre Analytics role is a full-time position focused on overseeing pre-analytic operations during the second shift in a clinical laboratory setting. The position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to optimize processes while ensuring safety and compliance. The supervisor will support the Laboratory Director in achieving organizational goals and will interact with various stakeholders, including clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all Pre-analytic operations during the day.
• Support the Laboratory Director with organizational goals and objectives, including developing and inspiring your team of employees.
• Interact with a variety of clients, patients, employees, and business units, with a commitment to customer-focused service.
• Review business indicators, optimize processes, and maximize profitability.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's in a laboratory science.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Business Administration.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or other service organization.
