About the position

The Supervisor Research and Analysis position at the Department of Treasury's Office of Financial Research involves leading a team responsible for conducting and overseeing research and analysis related to financial markets and institutions. Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and ensure the quality of research and data for senior officials and the public.
• Analyze the potential impact of existing or proposed policies on the financial system.
• Serve as a technical advisor on financial, economic, and technological developments.
• Provide supervisory direction to staff for producing key OFR publications.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to Band 53 (GS-13) in the Federal service.
• Experience in a senior or leadership position conducting research and analysis of economic phenomena.
• Experience directing a team focused on financial stability in various sectors.
• Ability to prepare analytical research reports for management.
