About the position

The Supervisory Budget Analyst serves as the Chief of the Program and Budget Division within the Department of Defense, responsible for programming, budgeting, controlling, and administering appropriated funds. This role involves advising the Director of Resource Management on budgetary matters and acting as the primary contact for budgeting and funding issues within the command.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee programming, budgeting, controlling, and administering the use of appropriated funds.
  • Advise the Director of Resource Management on all budgetary matters.
  • Act as the commander's point of contact with IMCOM on budgeting and funding matters.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Secret Security clearance.
  • Must have a DoD Financial Management Certification Level 2 certificate.
  • Experience in monitoring budgeting, manpower, contracting, and support agreements.
  • Ability to identify and analyze trends in resource receipt, obligation, or expenditure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in federal financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense budgeting processes.
