Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform budget management, execution, and tracking functions, including preparation of budget estimates and cost projections.
  • Lead the process of setting the annual fee schedule for a large fee-for-service program.
  • Advise office leadership and managers on budget policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service.
  • Experience in conducting budget planning activities, providing advice on budgetary policies, and leading projects or teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial management within a federal agency.
  • Knowledge of federal budget policies and procedures.
