About the position

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate financial management functions across the regional program.
  • Monitor and integrate budget allocation, execution, reallocations, redistributions, and end-of-year close out.
  • Analyze budgetary documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and strategic considerations.
  • Plan and set priorities for work to be accomplished, preparing schedules and directing team efforts.
  • Ensure consistency of regional budget and financial management practices with federal policies.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience in developing out-year budgetary projections.
  • Ability to analyze budgetary documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in ensuring financial management practices align with federal policies.
  • Leadership experience in overseeing team members' work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with federal financial regulations and policies.
