Requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Division Chief to plan, manage, and oversee the activities of the Seafood Inspection Program, formulating and implementing policies and procedures and assuring compliance with administrative procedures and guidelines.
• Provide advice to office and agency leadership in matters pertaining to the administration, staffing, technical operation, and policy implications of seafood inspection services.
• Provide oversight, coordination, and guidance for regional supervisory, inspection, and administrative staff.
• Oversee division-level human capital development and human resource hiring to recruit and retain staff and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within the division.
