About the position

The Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist will oversee the Facilities Management Division at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command SE. This role involves prioritizing maintenance and repair requirements, coordinating planning and funding for facility projects, and managing various trades to ensure successful project completion. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to direct work methods and expedite work orders to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize maintenance and repair requirements.
• Coordinate planning, programming, and funding for repair, maintenance, alterations, and construction of real property facilities.
• Manage the efforts of various trades for successful project completion.
• Expedite work orders by adjusting priorities to meet customer requirements.
• Direct the method by which work is to be accomplished, including contract work and in-house maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Specialized experience must demonstrate managing and inspecting facility operations, programming facility requirements, and contract oversight pertaining to facility projects.
