About The Position
The Supervisory Federal Air Marshal (SFAM), Assistant Federal Security Director-Law Enforcement (AFSD-LE) position is a critical role within the Department of Homeland Security, specifically under the Federal Air Marshal Service. This position is responsible for overseeing the safety and security operations at Newark Liberty International Airport, ensuring effective deployment of Federal Air Marshals and collaboration with local law enforcement agencies. The SFAM AFSD-LE will lead a team, manage security programs, and serve as a principal law enforcement official, directly reporting to the Special Agent in Charge.
