About the position

The Supervisory HR Specialist (Military) serves as the Chief of the Personnel Services Branch within the Military Personnel Services Division at the Directorate of Human Resources. This role involves overseeing various personnel actions, including promotions, records management, and retirement services, while ensuring compliance with military regulations and standards. The incumbent is responsible for directing operations related to personnel management and providing essential services to military personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Personnel Actions, Promotions, and Enlisted/Officer Records.
  • Manage the IPPS-A system and oversee AWOL/DFR processes.
  • Serve as the Retirement Services Officer.
  • Direct operations within the Military Personnel Services Division.
  • Ensure compliance with military personnel regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience managing a military personnel management program for officer and enlisted personnel.
  • Experience in establishing performance standards and preparing performance ratings.
  • Knowledge of Retiree Services Programs and military separations (DD214).
  • Supervisory experience in personnel actions for an organization.

Nice-to-haves
