About the position

The Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Military) at the Department of Defense is responsible for managing various military personnel management programs, including Military Awards and Evaluations. This role involves overseeing personnel action programs, conducting analyses, and serving as a technical expert in strength management. The position requires a strong understanding of military HR practices and the ability to collaborate with various military agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage military personnel management programs and systems such as Military Awards and Evaluations.
  • Participate in the development and administration of military HR projects.
  • Serve as officer and enlisted personnel manager and strength management expert.
  • Oversee military personnel action programs for the Command.
  • Conduct requisitioning cycle close-out analysis and briefings.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
  • One year of specialized experience in military personnel programs and policies.
  • Experience coordinating with higher-level headquarters regarding military personnel actions.
