About the position

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Military) in the Enlisted Distribution Division of the Navy Personnel Command, you will play a critical role in managing personnel distribution and ensuring that the Navy is adequately staffed with qualified personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling work to meet workload requirements, making recommendations to fill critical personnel vacancies, and conducting technical presentations and briefs to senior leaders. You will also be responsible for providing current and projected manning data to support the need to replace personnel, which is essential for maintaining operational readiness within the Navy. In this position, you will be expected to utilize your expertise in human resources to guide personnel on manning issues, ensuring that all levels of command are informed and equipped to make decisions regarding personnel management. You will leverage information systems to manage enlisted personnel distribution effectively, ensuring that the right personnel are in the right positions at the right time. Additionally, you will develop correspondence and status reports that communicate vital information to all levels of command personnel, thereby facilitating informed decision-making. Your role will also involve providing advisory and technical services to manage military personnel information and records programs. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date records that reflect the current status of personnel within the command. Your ability to analyze data and present it in a clear and concise manner will be crucial in supporting the command's personnel needs and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Developing correspondence and status reports for all levels of command personnel.
  • Providing advisory and technical services to manage military personnel information and records programs.
