About the position

The Entity Triage Chief (ETC) serves as part of the Office of Entity Vetting senior leadership team and is responsible for supervising the research and timely production of Risk Indicator Reports (RIR) identifying company business integrity and lawful conduct or foreign interest related risk indicators that may indicate a company poses a risk to USG customers, information, technology, or national security.

Responsibilities

  • Devote a minimum of twenty-five percent of time to classical supervisory activity in overseeing the work of two GG14 Entity Triage Deputy Chiefs.
  • Serve as a foremost technical expert in entity triage, corporate research, and related processes and procedures related to the NISP.
  • Provide highly technical direction and feedback to government and contractor staff, other internal parties, and external parties related to business and security research.
  • Provide expert, authoritative advice and consultation to senior management within DCSA and high-level officials in the defense industry.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to supervisors and team leads.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Monitor Unit metrics against established key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare team performance metrics.
  • Participate and serve on Agency, Department, and Executive Branch meetings and working groups.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a Drug Testing designated position.
  • Position is a (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under U.S.C. 1601.
  • Work Schedule: Full Time.
  • Overtime: Occasionally.
  • Tour of Duty: Flexible.
  • Financial Disclosure: Required.
  • Telework Eligibility: This position is telework eligible, but is not a full-time telework position.
