About the position

This position performs broad program management and supervisory duties as the Environmental Stewardship Program Manager for a system of multipurpose water resources development projects with multiple federally listed species, historic built resources, myriad biological and cultural resources, substantial land and boundary management with complex interagency and intergovernmental co-management agreements, and shoreline permitting management programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts implementation of the Willamette Valley Project NHPA Section 106 Programmatic Agreement and the MOA for Historic Property Management for the Willamette Valley System Operations and Maintenance Implementation Plan.
  • Monitors scheduling, budgeting, and commitment of staff to assigned projects.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as archaeology, biological sciences, natural resource management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in environmental, cultural, or fish biology technical products development.
  • Specialized experience in coordinating and integrating multiple disciplines to accomplish mission.
  • Leadership role in infrastructure development projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with federal environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of interagency and intergovernmental co-management agreements.
