About the position

The Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist serves as the Chief of the Architecture Management Division for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center. This role involves overseeing the activities of the division, managing personnel, and representing the division in various capacities. The specialist will lead the development and execution of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and data strategy, while also influencing policy and directives that impact the division's mission.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the Architecture Management Division.
• Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represent the Architecture Management Division with various DoD entities and other federal and foreign government agencies.
• Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of enterprise architecture engineering, cloud computing, and enterprise data strategy.
• Initiate, scrutinize, and assess new and revised policies, directives, and instructions impacting the division's mission.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must have IT-related experience demonstrating competencies in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
• One year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent, including evaluating IT and application processes and implementing system and data architecture.
• Knowledge of organizational, IT, and data management principles and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and guide others toward goal accomplishment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Skill in strategic planning and alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives.
