Responsibilities

  • Supervise the work of a Section within the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
  • Serve as a project manager for various information technology and related projects.
  • Plan and assign work to subordinates based on task nature, priorities, and employee capabilities.
  • Prepare and support budgetary estimates for personnel, services, and resources.
  • Design systems architecture to support TIGTA's mission and goals.
  • Lead task forces for studies and analyses to forecast user requirements and develop acquisition proposals.
  • Direct the development and presentation of technological forecasts and summaries for management.
  • Develop project plans outlining phases, milestones, and expected deliverables.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level in the Federal service.
  • Experience managing projects in business modernization and automation systems.
  • Experience leading or supporting the deployment of applications to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience evaluating, recommending, planning, and scheduling upgrades and installations of new technologies.
  • Oversight of program-level initiatives including budget and policy formulation.
  • Proficiency in attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
