About the position
The Supervisory IT Program Manager will serve in the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific, advising the Commanding Officer on matters related to Modeling and Simulation (M&S), Wargaming, and Information Technology. This role involves managing personnel and aligning organizational goals to support training requirements for military operations. The position is responsible for overseeing the command's Information Technology program to ensure effective integration of systems in a joint training environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise the Commanding Officer on M&S, Wargaming, and Information Technology mission and program goals.
- Assist in establishing plans for structure, workload estimation, and workforce identification.
- Manage military, civilian, and contractor personnel to ensure effective systems integration for training exercises.
- Align organizational goals with the guidance of the N2/N6 Director and Commanding Officer.
- Oversee the command's Information Technology program to provide information services in a joint training environment.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level.
- Experience overseeing Wargaming, Modeling & Simulation (M&S), and Information Technology for Joint Expeditionary Warfare programs.
