About the position

The Supervisory IT Project Manager will oversee the daily operations of the workforce, manage technical tasks, and ensure the completion of administrative tasks efficiently. This role involves providing guidance and support to team members, aligning efforts with the National Defense Strategy, and collaborating with various departments to prioritize critical demands. The position requires building trust and relationships to influence significant Naval efforts and leading technical initiatives related to installation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the workforce.
  • Manage technical tasks and ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members for professional and personal development.
  • Align efforts with the National Defense Strategy (NDS).
  • Collaborate with Departments and Human Resources to plan and prioritize critical demands.
  • Build trust and relationships internally and externally to influence Naval efforts.
  • Lead technical efforts, including planning, assigning, and directing installation activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must be registered for Selective Service (if applicable).
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods.
  • Must obtain and maintain government credit card for travel-related purchases.
  • Must complete training and obtain credentials for Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position within 12 months.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment.
