About the position
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. This position involves overseeing the Theater Security Cooperation and Interoperability Branch, supervising a team of 13 personnel, including 4 military officers and 9 government civilians. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the USINDOPACOM Strategy and Theater Campaign Plan, preparing briefings, writing information papers, conducting research, and supporting combined communications interoperability programs and activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 13 personnel, including military officers and government civilians.
- Review, analyze, and study the USINDOPACOM Strategy and Theater Campaign Plan.
- Prepare briefings and write information papers.
- Conduct research and perform analysis to support USINDOPACOM combined communications interoperability programs.
- Supervise direct support to foreign military sales cases affecting communications interoperability.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Must meet time-in-grade requirements for current federal employees.
- Must be registered for Selective Service if born after 12-31-59.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must complete a pre-employment drug test.
- Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

- Experience in planning, programming, budgeting, analysis, acquisition, and implementation of combined communications.
- Experience in supervisory duties for military and civilian subordinates.
