This position is located in the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS), Office of the Deputy Director for Secure Programs. The mission of the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) is to give court-involved youth the opportunity to become more productive citizens by building on the strengths of youths and their families in the least restrictive, most homelike environment consistent with public safety. The incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Juvenile Justice and Program Manager, responsible for conducting programming research and coordinating volunteer activities while collaboratively working with Juvenile Justice Institutional Counselors (JJIC) and other staff to enhance the quality of services provided to youth and ensure they receive appropriate support and resources.
