About the position

The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Deputy Director) position is a temporary role located in the Office of Hearings Operations at the National Case Assistance Center in St. Louis, MO. The incumbent will be responsible for overall program management, direction, planning, and policy-making for the center. This role includes acting on behalf of the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in their absence and handling confidential assignments. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage operations and represent the office in various meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall program direction and objectives for the National Case Assistance Center.
  • Plan and coordinate work within the Decision Writing Unit.
  • Act on behalf of the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in their absence.
  • Perform confidential and sensitive assignments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of SSA/OHO programs and policies.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
  • Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating work.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
