About the position

The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Operations Support) position at the Department of Defense is a critical role that serves as the Deputy Director of Compliance Financial Audit and Infrastructure Management (CFAIM). This position is responsible for advising the DLA Distribution Commanding General and Deputy Commander on organizational financial audits, compliance, risk management, and infrastructure management programs. The incumbent will provide financial policies and procedural guidance to globally stationed employees, ensuring that their functions are performed in compliance with established policies and guidance to promote accountability and auditability. In this role, the analyst will create training and performance programs for Department of Defense personnel in various areas including supply, storage, distribution, transportation, systems, inventory, and infrastructure management. The position also involves assigning work to subordinates to meet organizational vision, goals, and objectives, while ensuring the successful implementation of programs. The analyst will play a key role in coordinating, developing, and maintaining financial plans for organizational operations, and will provide advice and assistance to distribution finance policy, planning, and operations to customers. This is a full-time, permanent position located at the New Cumberland Defense Logistics Center in Pennsylvania. The role requires a U.S. citizenship, and the incumbent must complete a favorable suitability or fitness determination. The position is classified as GS-14, with a salary range of $139,395 to $181,216 per year. Telework is eligible, requiring at least 60% in-office time, and occasional travel may be expected. The position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and requires a security clearance with drug testing and financial disclosure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Deputy Director of Compliance Financial Audit and Infrastructure Management (CFAIM).

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
  • Experience in coordinating, developing, and maintaining financial plans for organizational operations.
  • Experience providing advice and assistance to distribution finance policy, planning, and operations.
