About the position

The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst position at the Department of Defense involves overseeing the Distribution Office of Plans, Training, and Modernization. The role focuses on coordinating contingency planning and providing operational support to Joint Commanders-in-Chief. The analyst will perform quantitative and process analysis of logistics policies and business activities, ensuring effective distribution support to customers. Responsibilities

• Serve as a supervisor in the Distribution Office of Plans, Training, and Modernization (J5).
• Coordinate contingency planning and support for operational Joint Commanders-in-Chief.
• Perform quantitative and process analysis of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution-wide policy alternatives and business activities.
• Analyze and modify short- and long-range plans, programs, and objectives, recommending major changes for optimal customer support.
• Establish and maintain relationships with supply chains, including Inventory Control Points and Regional DLA Commands.
• Supervise, direct, and oversee personnel to ensure successful mission accomplishment.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in federal service or equivalent in the private sector.
• Experience in coordinating, developing, and maintaining logistical plans for organizational operations.
• Experience providing advice and assistance to distribution policy, planning, and operations.
