The Supervisory Program Analyst position at the Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics involves overseeing various organizational functions, including technology management, procurement activities, and budget management. Responsibilities

  • Oversees technology management systems reporting to ensure compliance with data security documentation requirements.
  • Oversees organizational procurement activities and ensures contracts and purchases meet deadlines.
  • Manages the organizational budget and coordinates efforts with policymakers and stakeholders.
  • Updates internal budget processes and documents to incorporate changes directed by stakeholders.
  • Improves the organization's ability to respond to requests from internal and external customers as well as requests from policymakers.
  • Prepares schedules for completing work projects.
  • Oversees the organizational inventory and ensures the accountability of assets.
  • Works with management and staff to develop best practices and documentation for records management and other administrative processes.
  • Serves as the HR liaison for the program office, facilitating onboarding, coordinating recruitment efforts and ensuring compliance with agency hiring policies.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Candidates required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
  • Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
  • Subject to financial disclosure requirements.
  • Requires a supervisory probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
  • Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13 in the Federal Service.
  • Specialized experience must include analysis and preparation of actions or background documents on organizational funding of programs and projects, advising management on program budget formulation, and coordinating administrative services.
