About the position
The Supervisory Program Manager will oversee the Program Management and Business Operations team within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This role is crucial for ensuring effective program interpretation, goal definition, and communication of plans. The manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies for project integration and assessing coordination strategies to meet the command's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Function as the supervisor of the Program Management and Business Operations team.
- Provide program oversight and ensure effective interpretation of NAVSUP 04 programs.
- Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for project integration.
- Assess coordination strategies and redirect efforts to meet strategic objectives.
- Serve as a focal point for staff integration, tasking, and dissemination of information.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.
- Mastery knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for program assessment and improvement.
- Experience in formulating, developing, and implementing program policies and procedures.
- Ability to gather and analyze data, assess its accuracy, and make recommendations.
