About the position

The Supervisory Public Health Analyst - Team Lead position is located within the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration. This role is critical for analyzing public health programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the agency meets its mission and objectives. The incumbent will supervise staff, provide leadership, and coordinate efforts to enhance maternal and child health services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of program goals, objectives, priorities, and activities related to maternal and child health services.
• Provide advice and guidance on complex problems for a program of national or regional scope and impact.
• Advise and collaborate with high-ranking officials, including agency heads and legislative leaders.
• Research and write reports or documents that provide authoritative guidance on complex program issues.
• Write correspondence, memoranda, press releases, or other documents relevant to program activities.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• One year of specialized experience comparable to the GS-13 level in the federal service, including providing technical and administrative advice on maternal and child health programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of organizational, operational, and programmatic concepts in public health.
• Skill in oral and written communications, including preparing reports and making presentations.
