About the position

The Supervisory Sales Associate plays a crucial role in representing the company to both customers and associates. This position focuses on enhancing the brand image while ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The associate will assist customers in recognizing their needs for products and services, lead a team of associates, and maintain a continuous learning atmosphere to stay updated on product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with customers and establish connections.
  • Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions and events.
  • Provide premier customer service and build positive relationships.
  • Maintain store appearance and organization.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs.
  • Process transactions using a Point-of-Sales system and handle cash accurately.
  • Complete inventory processes and ensure merchandise is properly checked in.
  • Provide direction and training to sales associates and manage tasks effectively.
  • Adhere to assigned work schedules and follow through on assignments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail or relevant work experience required.
  • 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Moderate level of product knowledge and ability to train others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
