About the position

The Supply Chain Manager at Gameday Social is a pivotal role within our fast-growing fashion company, which specializes in designing and manufacturing apparel for Power5 universities, professional sports teams, and national brands. Based in Sioux Falls, SD, we have established a strong presence in over 1500 retail locations nationwide. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring that our processes are efficient and productive. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage various aspects of sourcing, including both domestic and international vendor management, logistics, production, and inventory management. In this role, the Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with other departments, such as creative and sales, to ensure the timely creation and delivery of products. They will manage inventory levels and maintain cost-effectiveness while fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee international vendor relationships, managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with vendor standards. They will also optimize logistics and coordinate shipments to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget. The responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager include production management, where they will create purchase orders, approve pre-production samples, and maintain schedules for a seamless workflow. Additionally, they will monitor inventory levels, collaborate with the sales team for demand forecasting, and implement controls to optimize stock availability. This role is essential for maximizing profitability and ensuring that Gameday Social continues to thrive in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain and logistics operations.

  • Request and evaluate samples from potential suppliers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in supply chain management, retail management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or logistics coordination.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
