About the position
The Supplement-Assistant Boys Wrestling-JV position at Gateway High School is a full-time role focused on supporting the boys wrestling team at the junior varsity level. This position is primarily aimed at individuals who have a passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes, ensuring they develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting wrestling practices.
- Support the development of student-athletes in their wrestling skills.
- Help manage the team during competitions and events.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and matches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must hold or obtain a 3-year temporary Athletic Coaching Certificate through the Department of Education.
