About the position
The Supplemental Sleep Medicine Physician will join the outpatient care team at Legacy Health, focusing on providing virtual sleep medicine services. This role requires expertise in interpreting sleep studies and managing patient care through virtual clinics, with a commitment to uphold the values of Legacy Health.
Responsibilities
- Interpret sleep studies and provide clinical assessments.
- Conduct a minimum of 4 virtual clinics per month, with a goal of expanding to in-person clinics.
- Maintain active membership in the Hospital Medical Staff.
- Ensure compliance with ACLS certification requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited residency program and fellowship in Sleep Medicine.
- Board Certified in Sleep Medicine (ABSM certification).
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon or Washington.
- Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff.
- Experience reading sleep studies.
- Basic familiarity with computers and electronic health records.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of clinical experience in sleep medicine.
