About the position
The position involves managing the daily performance of suppliers providing finished goods and components for Knoll Lifestyle collections. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and contract maintenance, ensuring cost optimization and risk management in direct procurement activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily performance of suppliers for Knoll Lifestyle collections.
- Conduct strategic sourcing for low to moderate risk items.
- Provide daily Procure-to-Pay (P2P) support including supplier setup and requisition processing.
- Support Supplier Development Managers with supplier research and spend analysis.
- Develop and maintain metrics for supplier qualification and performance.
- Maintain contracts database and monitor contract expirations and renewals.
- Analyze contracts for improvement opportunities.
- Request and maintain documents related to the Corporate Governance program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, Finance, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant supplier development experience with exposure to various commodities.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced technical Excel skills and proficiency in eSourcing and Spend Analytics.
- Disciplined, analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and project management principles.
