About the position

The Supplier Diversity and Contract Compliance Lead at HillDay is responsible for executing the Supplier Diversity and Compliance Program, ensuring that clients comply with various diversity and inclusion goals. This role involves managing outreach and compliance services, monitoring contracts, and providing training and support to contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing client Opportunity Day events.
  • Participate in pre-bid, pre-award, and pre-construction conferences to understand policies and EEO requirements.
  • Evaluate 'Supplier Diversity Plans' submitted by contractors.
  • Monitor and report contract compliance.
  • Review reports on employment practices, policies, and statistics of consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct field evaluations of contractors' utilization of certified subcontractors.
  • Investigate alleged violations of the programs.
  • Maintain a database to produce a registry of certified firms.
  • Certify and re-certify firms who apply.
  • Gather statistical data for clients' supplier diversity programs.
  • Analyze clients' supplier diversity program progress and identify improvement areas.
  • Advise the District on program achievements.
  • Write reports, memos, and correspondence.
  • Provide outreach and training to companies and community organizations.
  • Assist in mediating disputes with contractors and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of compliance experience.
  • Experience with HUB, SBE, DBE, MBE, and WBE-related program implementation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office and Access.
  • Ability to plan work and carry through to completion without close supervision.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State laws regarding EEO, SBE, DBE, MBE, and WBE programs.

  • Full-time position with competitive salary range of $79.4K - $101K per year.
