About the position

The Supplier Diversity Programs Analyst position is a contract role with a duration of 6-12 months, located in White Plains, NY. This role is critical for supporting the business development program of a major utility firm based in Westchester County, NY. The primary responsibility of the analyst will be to develop course curriculum in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. This involves creating measurable metrics to monitor and assess the growth and effectiveness of the program. The analyst will also be tasked with compiling, analyzing, and tracking program participants throughout their journey, which includes the creation of a monthly dashboard and a systematic data collection approach. In addition to these responsibilities, the analyst will identify New York State-certified minority, women, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, as well as NYS small businesses that are suitable candidates for the program. The role requires the development and provision of input on course material and outreach communications, as well as supporting outreach activities aimed at building relationships with suppliers in the industry. The analyst will also assist the team with stakeholder communications and perform other duties as assigned, making this a dynamic and multifaceted position.

Responsibilities

  • Support business development program by developing course curriculum with identified stakeholders.
  • Develop measurable metrics to monitor and measure program growth and effectiveness.
  • Compile, analyze, and track program participants through their journey, including creating a monthly dashboard.
  • Identify NYS-certified minority, women, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses and NYS small businesses for the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and work groups.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Visual data depiction experience using Tableau, Excel, or MS Office.
  • Previous experience with business development program development, data collection, and reporting.
