You will also provide tailored training sessions to the sales team on product lines, partnering with them to secure major sales opportunities. The role requires you to travel and present to suppliers, typically 1-2 times per quarter, making it essential to have strong communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities

  • Cultivating impactful relationships with suppliers to drive mutual success.
  • Collaborating with sales and product management to devise and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Mastering commodity strategies and supplier policies to maximize profitability.
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels based on sales forecasts and customer needs.
  • Assessing current product line performance and exploring new expansion opportunities.
  • Providing tailored training sessions to the sales team on product lines.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, product management, or sales within electronics distribution or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
