Responsibilities

• Assess suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop solutions to complex problems requiring data analysis.
• Exercise authority and judgment in selecting methods for solutions.
• Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval.
• Initiate and maintain work schedules and priorities.
• Plan and organize project assignments and maintain schedules.
• Work under general direction regarding project progress.
• Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
• Interpret and recommend modifications to company policies.
• Assist in establishing departmental policies and procedures.
• Cultivate business relationships to facilitate assignments.
• Interact with suppliers and participate in project goal setting.
• May lead projects or represent a specialized field in larger teams.
• Influence middle management on business solutions.
• Contribute to specific programs and projects.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 0 - 2 years related experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with quality systems, quality processes, internal auditing, or ISO13485.
• Experience with manufacturing support or process development.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience with medical device suppliers.
