About the position

The Supplier Quality Engineer at Rolls-Royce is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality within the aligned business area through a strategy of Assure, Protect, and Enable activities. This role aims to enhance the business's reputation and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to regulatory standards. The position involves leading quality strategy deployment, developing quality capabilities, and driving change to improve processes and mitigate risks. The role requires up to 25% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the deployment of the Quality strategy for the aligned business area.
• Support the development and deployment of Quality capability and culture to meet future requirements.
• Deploy metrics and key performance indicators to drive Quality performance.
• Drive change to the Operating System to mitigate risks and eliminate waste.
• Protect the business and customer through problem containment and resolution.
• Conduct product audits and process walks to review supplier assurance programs.

Requirements

• Associate degree and 4+ years of experience with root cause and corrective action investigation, OR
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with root cause and corrective action investigation, OR
• Master's degree, OR
• JD/PhD, OR
• 6+ years of experience with root cause and corrective investigation in a quality field experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
