About the position

Pratt & Whitney is at the forefront of transforming the future of flight, and we are seeking individuals who are ready to contribute to this mission. In this role, you will be responsible for executing key aspects of supplier quality assurance to ensure best-in-class supplier quality, delivery, and service. You will support the shop floor in addressing raw material issues by collaborating with the shop and Module Center quality teams. Your role will involve collecting, compiling, and presenting Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) data to drive continuous improvement initiatives at the supplier level, particularly in response to escapes and to support cost and lead-time reduction efforts. You will investigate, document, and close supplier investigations, escapes, and nonconformances, providing written status reports on these issues to customers and the management team. Utilizing the 8D problem-solving methodology, you will ensure robust root cause investigations and the implementation of corrective actions. Additionally, you will lead vendor corrective action board (VCAB) reviews to address quality signature performance, trends, and nonconformance activity. Building and maintaining key relationships across multiple disciplines with both suppliers and Pratt & Whitney will be essential to resolving production challenges.
