About the position

The Supply Planning Team at onsemi is a critical component of the Business Unit's (BU) operations, serving as the single point of contact and advocate for all supply-related matters. This team is tasked with proposing and maintaining both internal and external inventory targets while ensuring that these targets align with service level expectations. The Supply and Inventory Planning Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating allocation processes and managing end-of-life (EOL) strategies. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with the Demand and Capacity Planning team to effectively constrain the Unified Resource Demand Plan (URDP) during the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. As a Supply and Inventory Planning Manager, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive supply plans, known as the Collaborative Resource Demand Plan (CRDP), in conjunction with the Demand Team. This role encompasses the entire supply chain, necessitating effective communication and problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will be experienced in supply chain management and will bring a strategic focus to the role, setting high personal and organizational goals while ensuring disciplined execution to exceed these targets. This position is situated within a fast-paced and challenging environment that offers significant growth opportunities. You will interface with various departments, including Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Management, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure that supply chain strategies align with overall business objectives. The role is managerial in nature, requiring leadership skills to guide and develop team members while driving performance improvements across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and maintain internal and external inventory targets in alignment with service level targets.
  • Coordinate allocation and end-of-life (EOL) processes.
  • Collaborate with the Demand and Capacity Planning team to manage the Unified Resource Demand Plan (URDP) during the S&OP process.
  • Create and manage the Collaborative Resource Demand Plan (CRDP) in partnership with the Demand Team.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Interface with assigned Business Unit, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Management, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, particularly in inventory planning and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
  • Ability to set and achieve high personal and organizational goals.
