About the position

The Supply Center Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the supply center, focusing on material movements while adhering to safety and compliance standards. This role operates on the 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to meet customer requirements and maintain audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Supply Center Coordinator to ensure sales orders are accurately picked and staged.
• Coordinate in-bound and out-bound freight and associated dock appointments with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Support general warehousing activities such as cycle counts, destruction orders, and product labeling.
• Collaborate with Production Material Handlers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging to production areas.
• Utilize supply chain experience to communicate and implement process improvements.
• Ensure all training is current for audit compliance and maintain a clean and organized supply center.
• Coordinate safety walks and inspections with the Supply Manager as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Three to five years' experience in the pharmaceutical warehouse industry preferred.
• Ability to work from written and oral instructions and understand regulations affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience operating multiple powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Ability to complete required training and certification from internal/external agencies.
• Detail-oriented with ERP experience (SAP) preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand or drive powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE.
