About the position
The position is responsible for representing First Quality to customers and vice versa, ensuring that customer supply requirements for First Quality products are met. The role involves providing insights and analysis of customer activity to support product launches, promotions, vendor-managed inventory, and service improvements.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure their supply requirements for First Quality Products are met.
- Collaborate with FQ associates including sales, production planning, demand planning, distribution, transportation, product marketing, commercial finance & IT support to anticipate and proactively resolve product flow issues.
- Monitor open order and inventory reports to track progress of open orders through to shipment.
- Process orders for assigned customers, demonstrating functional knowledge of FQ order process system's capabilities.
- Comply with standard order processing procedures, ensuring orders have the correct product, lead time, pricing, order multiples, and meet order size requirements.
- Track VMI performance and monitor promotions and events for assigned customers.
- Maintain data for assigned accounts in First Quality's and in customers' systems.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with customers.
- Functional knowledge of order processing systems and procedures.
- Ability to analyze customer activity and provide insights for product launches and promotions.
- Experience in monitoring inventory and order reports.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in vendor-managed inventory (VMI) systems.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
