About the position

The Supply Chain Accounting Manager at Blattner Company is responsible for overseeing the Procure to Pay processes, ensuring effective collaboration with various stakeholders including Accounts Payable, Corporate Accounting, Project Accounting, Buyers, and Receivers. This role involves leading the annual inventory count, conducting spot checks for inventory accuracy, and developing a cycle count process in partnership with the Warehouse team. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of issues, education opportunities, and process improvement of Procure to Pay Processes.
• Oversee the annual inventory count for accounting, including planning and documentation.
• Perform spot checks of inventory items to ensure accuracy of inventory counts throughout the year.
• Develop a cycle count process for inventory in collaboration with the Warehouse team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business/Administration, Economics, or related degree; or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
• Five (5) years of general accounting experience required.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong understanding of three-way match principle from purchase order to voucher entry.
• Experience working with cross-functional departments.
