About the position
The Supply Chain AI Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for developing and implementing advanced GenAI solutions to address various supply chain challenges. This role involves managing large datasets, training and evaluating AI models, and integrating these models into existing supply chain systems. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable AI solutions while staying updated on industry trends and contributing to research and development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GenAI solutions for supply chain challenges such as demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Manage large datasets by identifying, collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis.
- Train and evaluate GenAI models using relevant datasets and metrics, fine-tuning for optimal performance.
- Deploy trained GenAI models into existing supply chain systems and integrate them with relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable GenAI solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in GenAI technologies and their applications in supply chain management.
- Contribute to research and development projects exploring innovative GenAI applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Five years of experience with AI and Machine Learning.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Nice-to-haves
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Supply Chain Management Systems (e.g. ERP, WMS, TMS).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop).
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of GenAI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or similar roles in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ preferred.
- Strong math skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certification in data science preferred.
