About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst II at Daikin Applied plays a crucial role in supporting supplier evaluations and ensuring their successful integration into the supply chain. This position involves managing procurement requirements, driving cost savings initiatives, and developing reporting systems while collaborating across facilities to enhance supply chain performance and foster continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models to quantify the impact of proposed supplier changes, cost negotiations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze large datasets related to supplier performance, cost improvement opportunities, and sourcing trends.
  • Deliver actionable insights to management to enhance supply chain performance and decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with functional managers and supply chain teams to understand current and future business needs.
  • Work closely with functional departments to identify inefficiencies and contribute to process maturity efforts that optimize supply chain operations.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in supplier performance data, incorporating macroeconomic and market dynamics.
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate analysis findings, project updates, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business needs and priorities.

Requirements

  • 4 Year Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics or similar.
  • 2+ Years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4+ Years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing or related field.
